Design Porn: Paul Catherall

I discovered Paul Catherall's work while I was looking for a birthday card in the Southbank Centre shop. All of these bright colours and sharp lines are making me very happy indeed.

I like that Paul chooses unusual landmarks for his work. They're different, but instantly recognisable.

This is the design I chose for my birthday card purchase. It's absolutely my favourite of the lot. Southbank has some very lovely lines and all of those steps are perfect for Paul's work.

The Trellick Tower is such a fantastic building. This is one of my favourite designs.

I'm not the biggest fan of the BT Tower, but gosh, that yellow. It's absolutely divine. The downside? The prints are actually £195. That's totally out of my price range, even though I'm being swayed by all of the yummy colours. But the cards are excellent quality and just £2.50 each. Now that's much better. You'll be tempted to pop them in a frame rather than popping them in the post.
