Sluttishly Snug: PiP Studio Quilted Throw
It seems like everybody's poorly right now. January is the month when we all crash after the hectic Christmas season and give in to all those winter bugs that seem to be doing the rounds. Add that to the plummeting temperatures outside and, suddenly, we start to feel a little feverish. While some brave souls soldier on, infecting everyone they meet, others do the smart thing and resign themselves to a couple of days on the sofa. Forty-eight hours of soup, reruns of Diagnosis Murder and afternoon naps are guaranteed* to make you right as rain, but you'll need a blanket.
You could just take the duvet from your bed, if your sickly body has the strength to drag it from room to room, or you could invest in a thoroughly beautiful quilted throw like this one from PiP Studio. We've already told you about their adorable tableware and their quilts are equally as stunning. Look at those gorgeous floral fabrics! Is that gingham piping? Yes! It manages to be really very pretty without becoming twee.
No, it's not cheap; you can find it at John Lewis for £120 and Selfridges for £125, but once you're well you can cheerfully adorn your sofa or bed with this lovely throw. Oh, I'm feeling better already!
*Beyond a first aid course where I accidentally knelt on my casualty, I don't have any medical training. I can't actually guarantee that chicken noodle soup, Dick Van Dyke or snoozing on the sofa have any healing properties. It can't hurt to try though, can it?
