By now you're probably familiar with the fact that we at Domestic Sluttery have something of a fetish for Alice in Wonderland. From papercut artwork to jewellery to mad hatters' tea parties, we can't help being a teensy bit obsessed.
So, with Easter fast approaching and film websites squealing over the forthcoming release of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, what better way to celebrate than with this ceramic bunny night light, from White Rabbit England?
Adorably unique, it's perfect for Alice devotees. And because it's made from fine bone china, it has a sophisticated, statement finish, stopping it from looking like it'd be better placed in a child's bedroom. It's £59, but it'll last much longer than your Easter eggs and all the hype about Tim Burton.

Scary!
ReplyDeleteThat is a little creepy, especially for a night light. It looks ready to pounce!
ReplyDeleteWell, I couldn't decide if it was creepy or not, but I like that about it. It's a bit weird and unsettling, and I like items like that. But yes, I'm not sure it'd be a good night light for a child, which is what they seem to be marketing as! I think if I'd had that when I was young I might have had lots of bunny-themed nightmares!
ReplyDeleteI don't think that's specific to kids ;-)
ReplyDeleteCreepy, definitely. But that's kind of better than cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment, katarney! I concur that it is on the creepy side, but I like that's it's so unusual!
ReplyDeleteI think it's really cute :)
ReplyDeleteI adore it and think its is amazing, but do not have fifty nine pounds ... I am going to watch Alice In Wonderland instead of bankrupting myself for it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jen and Laura! Laura, you're not alone in thinking spending the money on a cinema ticket instead might be a wise move! But I shall still dream about bunny lights even if I can't afford it...
ReplyDeleteI love it! It's adorable, and I love that it's perched dangerously between creepy and cute. I like to think of myself as perched dangerously between creepy and cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat I really like about it is that although it's white, it sort of looks pinkish when it's lit up. In the picture, at least.
