Meow Print by Gemma Jones

If yesterday's Darcy mug has fired up your enthusiasm for a spot of literary romance, brighten up your life and your walls with the Meow print from Gemma Jones.

Gemma Jones specialises in retro-influenced images of fearless girls and this one reminds me of what would happen if a Bunty comic went bad. The outline of a 1960s-style girl is printed onto a random page from a vintage pulp paperback entitled 'How to become the sensuous woman' from 1969. The text shown describes some pretty innocent advice on how to kiss, though apparently the book gets a lot more racy on other pages. It's no wonder the lucky girl is thinking what she's thinking!

The print costs only $15 from Jones' Etsy store, which is found under the seller name 'paintergirl'. The tips you pick up along the way could be worth that price in themselves.

  3. Glad you like it too. Looks like we'll end up getting about a chapter's worth of pages between us - we'll have to combine tips!
