Shop in the Spotlight: Nkuku

I love stumbling across new shops. And Nkuku is really very exciting. They specialise in eco friendly and Fairtrade products, but that doesn't mean that the compromise on style. In fact, just the opposite.

The Nkuku tiffin tins are just stunning. They're handpainted in Kashmir, and have four compartments so they're perfect for transporting cakes and biscuits. Or, for keeping all your crafty stuff in them, which I how I choose to use mine. There's also matching painted cups.

Loving this teapot set. Granted, I can't afford it, but that doesn't stop it from being pretty, does it?

These ceramic doorknobs are really cute. They're handpainted, and they're only £4.95 each.

Now the bad news: Because of being handcrafted across the world, everything appears to be out of stock until the start of May. But you can preorder and wait very patiently. I thought we'd tell you about Nkuku before the stock came in, so if there's anything you really really like, you can make sure you snap it up ASAP. I can't imagine this stuff staying around for long.

  1. Tiffin tins are just divine - need to take out a second mortgage to afford.
