I got an early birthday present at the weekend, from the lovely Abi. She bought me this Celia Bertwell mug, and I'm smitten with it. It stands out, but it's still got a pretty traditional design. Something that Celia is very good at. It makes excellent cups of tea. It's £7.95, which is much more present friendly than her £700 dresses.
Turns out there's a matching alarm clock too. Which makes me think that Ms. Birtwell is trying to give me the prettiest morning wake up she possibly can. I like her.
Ha. I'd be a bit worried if I thought my friends were going to look up how much I'd spent on their birthday presents and then tell everyone. Abi must be made of sterner stuff. ;)
