Whilst out making trouble with Neil from the fabulous Yet Another Gin, he introduced me to Casita on Ravey Street in Shoreditch. The bar is fabulous, hidden away and the best I've found in the area. And then, I had my first shot of verdita. And I'm beginning to see Tequila shots in a whole new way.
Tequila isn't a particularly classy drink, is it? Anything that comes in a shot class immediately leaves grace and class at the door. With your memory. But verdita changes that. It makes drinking shots enjoyable and refreshing. And so much fun that you want to keep doing it. A smooth mix of mint and coriander, the little shot glass of green is so much more enjoyable than salt and lime.
You'll need:
1 bunch mint leaves
1 bunch coriander
150ml pineapple juice
Green chilli
Shake it!
Blend the ingredients together and strain. Pour into shot glasses and serve alongside tequila shots. Never drink tequila in the same way again.
