I've never seen the point of paying to have cakes delivered before when I could just walk to a bakery, but that was before I discovered Sweet Things:

Look how well they travelled! The vanilla cream was a little squished, but no major damage. We've told you about Sweet Things' brownies and cupcakes before, but this box showcased their mini loaves and whoopie pies, plus a Valentine's chocolate brownie lollipop. After posting a photo on Twitter, I had my friends fighting over who could get to my house first to help eat them.
I very bravely made a start on my own - I know, the things I do for you. The sponge was light and moist, the cream was fresh and not synthetic or cloying, and they were far too easy to eat. There was edible glitter in the whoopie pies, just to make them even more special (and good lord, they were seriously amazing). They all taste home-made in the best possible way - made with love, not mass produced in a factory. And good news for those of you who are gluten intolerant: their apple and their chocolate loaves are gluten free.
Sweet Things deliver across London, and will post their brownies and flapjacks nationwide. Check out their full range and order some for a friend, loved one, or just for yourself to chase away the post-birthday blues.
