You know what's great? Being snuggly (cosy is following very close behind, shivery is MILES down the track). Deciding that instead of going to the pub again, you're going to stay in and watch America's Next Top Model, in your PJs and be all snuggled up. And maybe you'd like a cup of peppermint tea instead of a cocktail. Not very rock 'n' roll, but it feels lovely. Mmmmm snuggles.
But these things need careful planning. You need to make sure you have all the right things in. You can't snuggle without biscuits. And without full access to the remote control. And you need all of your books and magazines within easy reaching distance. And socks. You have to have really good socks.
I've had my eye on these cashmere socks for a while now. But really Graham & Green, forty quid for a pair of socks?! They'd have to be made by pixies for me to think that was acceptable. But, they're in the sale now so they're £15 a pair. Pricey, yes. But my feet are in a pair at the moment, and frankly, the only way you're getting the remote control is by prising it out of my hand once I've fallen asleep in a snuggly haze on the sofa.
