Clutch bags have always posed a problem for me. I tend to put them down, wander off and then they're never to be seen again. Or, I have to make a mad dash back to wherever I've been with a look of panic on my face. Clutch bags and I don't get on.
But this one? This one and I can be friends. It's that little wrist strap, you see. Suddenly it's a whole different ballgame. I can't lose this one. And I wouldn't want to. That purple leather is such a stunning colour. And as it's eel skin (which sounds strange, but I've been assured it isn't), it gets softer and more pliable the more it's handled so it'll just get prettier with age.

I can testify to the hard wearing properties of eel skin. I've got an eel skin purse my Mum bought me for christmas, and after months of very hard wear being pulled in and out of handbags, it still looks amazing. Previous purses have all fallen apart by this point. Its a bright blue colour, so I'm sure purple would also wear well.
