Apparently this is the wallpaper decorating the walls of Soho Grand Hotel in New York. And that's very fancy indeed (we're off to that side of the pond later this year, we'll be sure to pop in). It's fun, isn't it? There's more than a little Quentin Blake about this Schumacher design, which makes it infinitely better. Quentin Blake is awesome.
Look at all the different birds! Pointy beaks, curly feathers, little mohawks (like all the best birds). There's so much happy in this wallpaper. My white walls are being given the eye as I type this. They need some cute bird action immediately. You can find out more at Turnell and Gigon, and it's about £50 a roll.
