As much as I love novels, I rarely buy them full-price. Spend more on a book because it's in hardback or brand new? Pfft. Not me. Second-hand battered paperbacks will do just fine, ta.
But sometimes I'll see a book cover so eyecatchingly lovely, I'll snap it up for the full price. And on the rare occasion I buy a book for it's wonderfully designed cover, I want to show off more than just the spine.
Thanks to the creative genius of SUCK UK, your friends can admire your gorgeous book covers (and your artistic eye) with these Picturebooks (£12.99). Simply slot in the snazzily-designed paperback of your choice, hang on your wall et voila - an instant dose of original art.
I'll be splashing out on these Virago Modern Classics with covers designed by the likes of Cath Kidston and Barbara Hulanicki. I think they'll do my walls justice.

What a good idea! I too buy books somethimes just for the cover!
ReplyDeleteJudging a book by its cover isn't always a bad thing - I bought The Poisonwood Bible because the cover was pretty. Best book I've ever read!
ReplyDeleteMight buy one of these to keep it in.
