Shop in the Spotlight: Bramble and Bloom

Recently, I've been invited to about eleventy vintage fairs and events, all of which sounded magical, all of which I've been too busy to be able to attend. Cue major sulking. And, unlike most other shopping, I can't really do it all online instead - trawling through eBay all day just isn't quite as fun.

Then I found Bramble and Bloom. Their ordinary homeware is pretty cute anyway (their custom-made cushions are particularly enchanting), but it's the Vintage Treasures section of the shop that really catches my eye. Some of these one-off pieces are so good they make me giddy.

For starters, isn't this peacock tin pretty? I'd like to think I'd use it to store something appropriate like bird feed, but it's more likely just to sit on my shelf looking adorable . Still, at £9 I'll find it hard to resist making it mine.

What a chirpy little coffee pot! It's £28, but I reckon it's worth it to have elevenses in style forever more.

This 1930s parasol (also £28) is my sweetest find in ages. I love the colours, I love the flowers, and most of all I'll love sauntering up and down with it over my shoulder. Who cares if I look out of place amongst all the hoodies at the park? I'm a laaaady.

There's plenty more vintage curiosities to be found from Bramble and Bloom, so get your skates on.
