Sluttery by Post: Bean and Ground Coffee Club
I have a love/hate relationship with coffee. I won't touch instant, but I love a Starbucks latte (I'm all about the foam). I love the caffeine buzz, but one cup too many and I can be bouncing off walls for the rest of the day. And I still miss the coffee adverts with Anthony Head.
I'm careful about my coffee, so when I do drink it, I want to do it properly. That's why I'm really quite excited the Bean and Ground Coffee Club. Each month, they'll send 210g of coffee to you. That should be enough for 20 cups. You get three different varieties in each box, from all around the world and the bags are 70g so just the right size for keeping on your desk (but too small for sharing with colleagues). Postage is included, and you get tasting notes so you can find out more about what you're drinking. I don't think the notes will say things like 'will rid you of your hangover' or 'tastes great with whisky', but you can find that stuff out for yourself. You get to choose between beans and ground coffee as well (that might have been obvious from the name of the company).
And you know what? It's cheap! Prices are just £9 per month if you want to try a one off, or £8 a month over three months and £7 a month if you opt for the six month membership. That's very reasonable indeed.
Go on, get the kettle on. Make some biscotti while you're at it.
