Win! Bodie and Fou Paris Print!
On the 6th day of Christmas, Domestic Sluttery gave to me a Paris print from Bodie & Fou.
This is one of my favourite prints from Bodie & Fou. Paris is so pretty, but this print has something very Rob Ryan about it. The fact that it's a shocking pink colour makes it even better. It's the perfect print for a feature wall. And the perfect print for having whimsical daydreams about Pareeeee. Walking hand in hand down little streets with handsome french boys...
Anyway. You want to win this awesome print, yes? Then just leave us a comment finishing this sentence:
Paris is...
You'll get an extra entry for retweeting, and we'll pick a winner out of a virtual hat after midnight. But if you've already won a prize in our 12 Days of Christmas competitions, please don't enter again - that's not a very Christmassy thing to do, is it? We want as many people as possible to get presents!
Good luck!
The small print: The competition will close at midnight, December 8th. Make sure you leave your name! UK based readers only, sorry! Don't worry if you don't win there's lots of competitions for Christmas. We're not allowed to enter our own competitions, but we like Paris rather a lot. As much as jelly babies. Even as much as the green ones. We wish we could enter own own competitions. Humph.

ReplyDeleteParis is for me the start of a happy life, my husband proposed to me.
ReplyDelete...frivolity.
ReplyDeleteParis is .. where my boyfriend asked me to marry him on the Eiffel Tower on his birthday 2 months ago. Now it's my favourite city!
ReplyDeleteParis is... the only city where I've managed to eat nothing but cake for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
ReplyDeleteParis is the pulsing heart of a wonderful country, je t'adore and I love you!
ReplyDelete(Just got back from a 4 day trip to that beautiful city! Need to go back soon...)
...on my Christmas list. I have never been (sssh...I'm terribly embarrassed). Have your fingers crossed for me that my significant other FINALLY takes me this year...
ReplyDeleteParis is my favourite place on Earth, a city where I feel comfortable and confident and where the men are still gentlemen and the fashion is exquisite, with an amazing array of vintage flea markets and high couture boutiques, it should certainly be on any fashionista's dream destinations wish list. J'adore Paris x
ReplyDelete...a city of art, culture and beautiful architecture, with the best cakes in the world, and an annoying population who can eat them without getting fat!
ReplyDelete...the best, strong cafe au lait and a perfect, tiny cake all taken with an amazing view- bliss!

...where I'd like to be for the weekend.
ReplyDeleteParis is... rose tinted loveliness
ReplyDelete. . . where I would like to go for my 11th wedding anniversary. The traditional gift is something made out of steel, and the Eiffel Tower is made out of steel, so it really is the only place to be :-).

Gay (as proven by my twitter tshirt pic)
ReplyDeleteParis is... where my best friend moved to the year we turned seven and the reason I learned to speak French. It's where I chickened out of going up the Eiffel Tower aged seven because I was too scared. It's where I spent man childhood holidays. It's where, aged 21, my boyfriend took me on holiday and we watched the cabaret at the Moulin Rouge and I finally made it to the top of the Tower!

Paris is the Beautiful face of Romance, The brush-strokes of a masterpiece, the Plate of exquisite cusine, and the Catwalk of fashion..

Paris is a city where lovers go to kiss...
ReplyDeleteAnd a location for a romantic Christmas.

ReplyDelete..my second home :)
ReplyDeleteParis is... where I went to university - I can see where I used to live on this print!
ReplyDeleteParis is...the capital city of France :)...My mind is frazzled from my studies...so excuse my dim-witted reply...hopefully I'll get this print which I can hang in my (as yet undecorated) room and relax looking at :).
ReplyDeleteParis is...a multitude of happy memories for me and my partner; I can still remember the first time I saw the Eiffel Tower lit up at night and the hours I spent exploring the Left Bank trying (and failing) to soak up all that Parisian sophistication- it's just an undeniably beautiful city and I want to go back there RIGHT NOW PLEASE! :)

..like a kiss in the rain
ReplyDeleteParis is... the place I went on a school trip aged 12 and one of the pervy boys from the class ran away to go to the street with all the dirty movies and so we missed seeing the mona lisa. Sad face!
ReplyDeleteParis is...full of lovely spaces to sit and watch the world go by, to eat pastries and drink lovely things, and....have your 10 year anniversary with your boyfriend!
ReplyDeleteParis is only two and half hours away from my desk, and yet I haven't been since I was six - pah.
ReplyDeleteParis is...where a part of my heart will always live, even if my body no longer lives there.
ReplyDelete...in France
ReplyDeleteParis is.....only a bunny hop away but exists in it's own truly creative hub of excellence.x
ReplyDeletePairs is...a place that no superlative can do justice to; existing in the imaginations of thinkers, writers and lovers the world over as the destination of inspiration and creativity.
ReplyDeleteHave RT @Liz_Sara
Paris is... Somewhere I've never been but have always longed to go. Unfortunately pennies are a bit tight at the moment so this print would take me halfway there!
ReplyDeleteParis is home to lots of tasty snails and frogs
ReplyDelete..a right slag. You did mean Paris Hilton, right?
ReplyDeleteParis is a city of contrasts, even in the way it's perceived by outsiders - whether it's the impoverished, artistic Montmartre, the chic Left Bank full of skinny Parisiennes, or the classic Eiffel Tower, place of a thousand proposals. But the contrasts continue: it's Parisians rushing around, just as in any city; it's freshly baked bread and delicious salads and decadent croissants; it's style and function combined, in the spacious wide boulevards and the elegant state buildings; it's the diverse culture, from the poorer 19th and 20th arrondissements to the wealthy, upper-class 12th and 13th; it's the studenty Bastille which still retains the spirit of revolution, yet also the contemporary businesses and shiny buildings of La Défense. And there's so much more that I'm not sure you could ever sum it up in one sentence...

Paris is nothing like Paris Hilton.
ReplyDeleteParis is ... a city, but boy oh boy what a city! Makes my heart flutter everytime I think of it!
ReplyDeleteParis is as Perfect, Attractive, Romantic, Idyllic and Suave as every Mister Right.
ReplyDeleteParis is delicious.
ReplyDeleteParis is Burning or so goes the Ladyhawke song. I always thought that was London.
ReplyDeleteParis is... freaking amazing. In every which way.
ReplyDeleteParis is .... a dream and inspiration x
ReplyDelete...more magical than Unicorn vomit!
ReplyDeleteParis is...a pocket of heaven glittering with the lights of the Eiffel Tower and the pailletes on a Sonia Rykiel beret. Steak frites on a sun-dappled Left Bank street, fondue in Montmartre and macaroons on the Champs Elysee. And taking the train half an hour out of the centre to ride rollercoasters at Disneyland, aged 25.
ReplyDeletepink!!!
