You don't need me to tell you how cold and unforgiving it has got out there. When it's this wintry, it seems cruel that normal life should continue on with its demands of work and household chores and so on. Instead, all I want to do is stop time for an hour or two while I curl up on the sofa with a good book.
This Love in a Cold Climate print is on my shopping list for decorating my reading nook. Produced by Thursday Press using a vintage letter press, the romantic pink ink combined with the elegant and restrained typography sums up everything I like about the Nancy Mitford book it takes its title from. And, on another level, it's always nice to think about soppy stuff and cuddling up to someone nice when it gets cold and dark, isn't it?
Priced at £35 for an unframed print, it'll no doubt cost you a lot less than November's heating bill.
