Cosy blankets at Pedlars

I write this as the wind and rain rattle my single glazed windows around in their panes. Yes, we're tripping merrily into the dark side of the year; those months when we relish dressing up in cable knit jumpers and Ugg boots, sitting indoors with the heating on and drinking cups of cocoa, occasionally dressing up in sequins for some big parties.

It is of course this cold that has made me yearn irrepressibly for one, or both, of these fabulous blankets from Pedlars. One of them is printed with LOVE:And the other is printed with HOME.They are both 100% wool, made in Ireland (fact fans) and £85 each. I found them in Selfridges Oxford Street last week, where the wonderful Pedlars have just opened up a new concession. Even complete with a cute boy at the till. Hooray!
