The Domestic Sluts will be getting giddy and merry tonight at a party to celebrate our recent second birthday and our forthcoming book. And what better way to celebrate than drinking champagne and gin.
If you can't be with us tonight in person, whip yourself up one of these delicious cocktails (a variation on a French 75) and at least be with us in spirit.
You will need:
- 50ml Gin
- 6 Raspberries
- Juice 1/2 lemon
- 1 teaspoon fine sugar (preferably sugar powder)
- Rose Champagne (or other pink fizz)
In your cocktail shaker, gently crush the raspberries with the lemon juice and sugar. Add the gin and some ice and give it a good shake. Strain into a tall champagne flute and top with some rose champagne. Bottoms Up!
Yes! I like this recipe. I might add a dash more sugar just because I'm a rebel like that.
