For my birthday a couple of years ago, my friends bought me a ginger bread house. I had to put it together myself, and then decorate it with sweeties and icing. Which was much more fun after a few cocktails. But
The Gingerbread Emporium makes such pretty gingerbread houses. I'm tempted to buy one of these instead of having to worry about making one myself. Then I can just munch all of the yummy treats that are hidden inside.
Best bit? They're made to order so if your house has a red door, just let them know! They're really reasonably priced as well - starting from £7 for a small house. I love the idea of creating Domestic Sluttery HQ in gingerbread, it's a little bit Hansel and Gretal, but that's OK by me*.
*Disclaimer: I promise not to try and eat small children. Except maybe little gingerbread ones.
