Benjamin Antz-Recalt's City Scarves
Parisian designer Benjamin Antz-Recalt is tapping into my love of cartography. I can spend hours staring at maps and I was only recently that I finally gave up my London A-Z. Now instead of relying on Googlemaps, I can just wear one of Benjamin's City Edition scarves and use it as a map when I get lost.
Each of his scarves are available in black on white or the reverse. And it's lots of fun playing 'which city is this?' It turns out I'm not great at this game.
This is Auckland! It took me ages to guess but I think it's my favourite design. I love the spindly lines across the white silk.
Berlin looks awfully pretty in black and white, doesn't it?
The grid patterns across Los Angeles make for a perfect monochrome design.
I like how simple the Hong Kong design looks.
Moscow looks a little bit like a really cool spiders web.
And here's Tokyo looking fabulous as always.
There are 15 city scarves to choose from, each one the perfect gift for far-flung friends or loved ones with a bit of wanderlust (should you feel the urge to wrap up plane tickets in them, I'm sure that would go down very well indeed). Each scarf is €99 available directly from Benjamin's online shop, or you can buy the scarves and (very expensive) City Edition t-shirts from Wolf & Badger.
