Grandfather Clocks are my new obsession. They have a certain fairytale charm and when I'm a grown-up with a proper house (and not a pokey flat), I'll have one in my hallway. Right next to the coat and umbrella stand.
Though the traditional dark wood Grandfather Clocks are something, they would look a little out of place in my future house (which I have planned out in my head. As you do.)
This Gustavian Grandfather Clock (£370) in grey is pretty perfect. It's less ornate than most, but still has a whimsical quality which really appeals. Hopefully it'll still be around when I move into my future home.
I love grandfather clocks! I'd be tempted to doodle on this one and jazz it up a bit though :-)
