Serving Suggestion: Donkey and Cart from Belle and Boo
So you've sent out your party invites, put on your best frock, made an indie disco playlist, and baked/bought an array of cakes and nibbles. Rather than arranging your snacks on a series of drab paper plates balanced precariously around your living room, why not serve them in a donkey and cart?
Belle and Boo has created a gloriously twee serving suggestion with their cute, cardboard centrepiece for you to fill with sandwiches, sweets or whatever takes your fancy. That donkey will happily carry flowers for you if you don't trust him with cakes.
There's a whole Belle and Boo party range if you want to go full twee, but I think the serving cart adds a nice nod to childhood parties without feeling like you'll be drinking lemonade and dancing to Bros all night. He's £10 plus postage.

This is amazing! It's made me want to have a birthday party this year just so I have an excuse to get this to put cakes in.
ReplyDeleteOh, you MUST! And play pass the parcel and hand out party bags at the end (too far?)!
DeleteI still do pass the parcel.
DeleteNo one gets to leave one of my parties without having a piece of cake wrapped in a napkin pressed into their hands for the journey home/ next morning's hangover.
ReplyDeleteI love forgetting about party cake and discovering it in my pocket the following morning. It's like a gift from the hangover fairy.
DeleteAh, how cute! I may just try this out... my niece and her little ones love Belle and Boo!
ReplyDeleteThe old 'buying it for my niece' excuse. It'll never leave your home, will it?? ;-)
DeleteYay, thanks for spotting our donkey and cart and for loving it. We really appreciate the mention x
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome - it's adorable!
