It wasn't until I was browsing the House of Fraser website that I realised that Pied A Terre, rather like Zara, have also branched out into homewares. And what lovely homewares they are! I am particularly taken with this peacock inspired dining set. It has a touch of Art Deco about it and I adore the colours. The blues with the small touches of gold are classy without being trashy and look like a very loved set for best that you might find hidden in one of your gran’s cupboards.
Rather than go for the whole lot, I’d be tempted to build up a tea service first – the shape of the teapot is gorgeous enough to be a centrepiece. One of the most pleasing things about this range is the price. I thought it was going to be eye-watering but the teapot is currently £20 down from £25 and the teacup andsaucer £7.20 down from £9. Even at full price, I'd be putting my order in right now.
