We're beginning to fully embrace the approach of Autumn. Pies! Gravy! Crumble! Custard! Snuggly blankets! All the good television! And socks. Socks and tights to be more exact. They just make sense. They're warm. They look great with shoes and boots. They mean you can get a bit more wear out of your summer dresses before you fully commit to the cold.
The colour combination of these over the knee socks from Asos is a winner. Pumpkin orange and khaki are go to colours and perfect for kicking about in leaves. They're only £6.
Want to make a bit more of a statement? Then you need these zig-zag tights from House of Holland for Pretty Polly. They're £15 and will instantly brighten up a LBD.
The zig-zag too much? Still want some colour though? May I recommend to you these polka dot tights by Gipsy? They look cosy don't they. They're £13 from Asos.
Most of my ankle socks are plain black which is boring. I want rabbits on my socks. Luckily, Topshop have such things. £3.50 is a small price to pay for cosy cuteness.
Now to find some boots to go with them all!

Excellent finds. I especially like those polka dots ones. I've bought the first tights of autumn this very lunchtime (pink ones from COS).
ReplyDeleteAh so lovely. Autumn is my favourite season, especially the clothes. Cosy cord skirts, wooly tights, boots and big jumpers. What's not to like? I'm loving the polka dot tights a lot.
ReplyDeleteI'm all about the polka dots as well!
ReplyDeleteI think all of us will be wearing the polka dot ones!
