Lipstick on your Lulu Guinness toaster?

It's not often I get to wax-lyrical about two of my most favourite things - fashion and kitchen appliances - in the same blog post, so imagine my excitement when I discovered this lovely looking toaster smothered in a luscious lip print.

Legendary fashion designer Lulu Guinness has teamed up with, er, 'electrical specialist' Comet to create a limited edition toaster 'to add a touch of glamour to one of the most quintessentially British gadgets'.

With Lulu's iconic lip designs all over this particular bread-burner, it'll certainly make quite the style statement in any kitchen (whether you actually use it to make toast or just position it strategically on your worktop to impress neighbours and visitors).

It's also a very affordable bit of designer kit. Available online and in-store (well, selected stores anyway) from tomorrow, you can snap one up exclusively at Comet for a purse-friendly £34.99. It's a collaboration that'll certainly make Lulu Guinness the 'toast' of the fashion world; race you to the check-out, girls!

  6. I know exactly what you mean; I wouldn't want to get it all 'crumby' (is that even a word?) by doing a silly thing like making in toast in it! Wait...x

  7. Everyone seems to really really like this... I'm not so sure. Maybe I just couldn't see it in my (pale blue rather old fashioned) kitchen. But I'm not as blown away with it as everyone else seems to be.
