It has been far too long since we had a competition. So, we thought we better make this one a really really good one. And what better to give away than shoes? Designer shoes at that. You're welcome. These Calvin Klein peep-toes from Rubber Sole are so sexy. They're worth £164.99 and they'll make your feet happy forever. We wrote about them a little while back, and we've wanted to get our grubby little mits on them ever since.
And now we have, we're giving them away.
(Wait, are we allowed to change our minds about this? No? Fiiiiiine.)
So what do you have to do to win? Simple! Just leave a comment below telling us where you'd wear these beauties OR, send us a tweet saying "Lovely @domesticsluts, give me free shoes!" If you do both, that'll give you two chances to win. And that'll be excellent. Please don't leave anonymous comments. If you do that, we can't tell you you've won!
The shoes go up to a size eight, and you can choose black or nude (depending on availability). Bigger than a size eight? Don't worry! You're allowed to pick another pair of shoes in your size from the Rubber Sole website so there's shoes for everyone. In the meantime, we'll get onto the shoe world about why they don't cater for ladies with larger feet.
You've got until 5pm on Monday 26th to get your entry in, and we'll announce the winner on Tuesday morning. If the winner hasn't claimed their prize by the end of Monday, we'll do the draw again.

ReplyDeleteOn hearing the first clap of thunder, I'd pull these on and go galoshing around in the pouring rain, with lightning bolts raining down around me, safe in the knowledge that if struck by one, my hair might look a little frizzy but the Rubber Sole would safely take the lightning down to the ground whilst keeping me and my lovely shoes intact.

ReplyDeleteThese would let me get my girly side well and truly back and would have to be unveiled with much champagne and inappropriate behaviour, but definitely no running!
Where wouldn't I wear these is a much better question...and in answer to that, the shower! That would be the only place I wouldn't wear them!

ReplyDeleteBut I think they would be most appreciated if I wore them while waving my darling daughter off on her Malawi adventure. Even though (no doubt) I'm be sobbing at least I can look glamorous while waving my hankie.
[On the fashion side of things I've never understood how all the catwalk models have to be very very tall, so quite obviously they're not going to have size 5 feet. So the designers do make big size shoes but the high street just doesn't remember there are more of us out here]
I would wear them in Paris! obviously car to bar only (too many cobbles over there)... pretty please can I have them?

ReplyDeleteI would wear these shoes to work dinners (of which there are a lot, as I work in events & fundraising). At 5"2, I spend a great deal of my time talking to men's buttons, or craning my neck to try and make eye contact - these beautiful shoes would therefore be a most welcome addition to my wardrobe!

I'm moving to France in September for six months and I think these shoes deserve to be worn somewhere that is as chic as they are....so I would wear them as I (window) shop in Paris and strut along the Champs Elysees. They would help me fit in with the effortlessly stylish french women, and nobody would notice my wobbly french as they would be so entranced by my beautiful shoes!

My daughter is a size 9 so couldnt wear them :o( We will be very interested in your "why they don't cater for ladies with larger feet2 investigation. Although it is getting better but mostly just on line.

So I was going to wear these for dinner when my newly-reconciled boyfriend and I went out.
