Please no sniggering at the name of these Bird in the Bush cups. Although I've put them in the Design Porn category, they're far too lovely to be coarsened by any jokes about female topiary. Once you get past their name, it's a simple and pretty idea: four cups that can be used individually or, when stacked up, form a kind of bird in tree ceramic sculpture.
The cups are available from Dutch by Design and cost £25 if you buy them with a pink bird or, somewhat inexplicably, are a whole £4.95 extra if you want them with a blue bird.
Team these cups up with the Polly George butterfly toast rack and the Takae Mizutani snail plate and you've got enough little creatures to make your kitchen almost worthy of Cinderella - after all, if you find the word 'bush' funny, you're clearly never going to be Snow White.
