Elizabeth & Stevens Post Box
Handwritten letters are one of my favourite things. I don't just mean notes scribbled on the back of a takeaway menu. Taking the time to sit and write to someone you love is a very special thing. Sadly, "Luv u <3 LOL xxxx" is as romantic as it gets for some. As modern as I am, I still get nostalgic about posting snail mail.
And, of course I get excited about receiving it. Which is why I'm loving this Elizabeth & Stevens post box. It's £195, and would last all of two seconds in my front garden before the mean kids nicked it. But I think its so beautiful. It only works one way, you're not suddenly allowed your own post collection from Royal Mail, but I'd love to pop out and get my mail from this and find love letters and postcards. This mailbox would attract happy mail, I'm sure of it.

ReplyDeleteLove it- I'd love to physically open it up each morning with a little key. Like Postman Pat... 'kettle on Mrs Groggins'!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely want! But until I have a house with either a moat or lions guarding the gates I would fear for it's fate at the hands of the local kids too
ReplyDeleteThey stole the Sluttery HQ hanging baskets :-(
