Hotel Chocolat End of Season Selection
This is my favourite January sale secret, and I'm finally sharing it with you. I love the chocolates at Hotel Chocolat, absolutely love them. Especially the vodka ones based on the Cosmopolitan cocktail. But I'm not very rich at the moment, and I can't afford their full priced boxes.
I can, however, treat myself to a box of chocolate surprises. For just £8.50, Hotel Chocolat will send you a selection of their end of season stock. You won't know what you're getting until it arrives, but it'll be at least 360 grams and worth a whole lot more than £8.50. I had a selection of six different kinds last week, and way more than the suggested weight. Everything from sour cherry ganache truffles to little coffee treats shaped like cups of cappuccino. I liked everything I was sent, and I'm even tempted to order another batch.
I love that you don't know what you're getting (but they can't guarantee booze free or tell you if there will be nuts so do be careful with your allergies). If you don't like some of your sweeties, you can always share. Yes, you might get some that look like Santa, but chocolate is still tasty, it doesn't matter what it's shaped like. And bargain chocolate tastes even better.

ReplyDeleteOhhh you're making me long for the days of my Hotel Chocolat uniform and weighty staff discount! Developed a serious habit while there 3 years!
ReplyDeleteI was most upset when I got an error when I tried to add to my basket... turns out it was just Safari, it works fine in Firefox. You know, just in case anyone else had trouble getting their MYSTERY CHOCOLATES :D
ReplyDeleteI ordered some this morning and it is now only £7!!!
ReplyDeleteI spotted that late last night, but I will not be tempted again!
