Cocktail Hour: Havana Beach

Call me predictable, but the second the sun comes out, I start drinking ridiculous drinks with paper brollies in them. Because I can. It just doesn't feel the same in the rain. So, expect to see lots of beachy inspired drinks until sunset. Or at least until the girls drag the bottle of rum away from me. This Havana Beach cocktail is yummy, like a summery version of a Dark 'n' Stormy.

You'll need:

• 50ml white rum
• ginger ale
• 100ml pineapple juice
• 1/2 lime
• ice
• sugar syrup
• lime slice

Shake it! Slice the lime into four, add to a blender with everything bar the ice, lime slice and ginger beer. Add the ice to the large glass, pour your cocktail. Top up with ginger beer and garnish with the slice of lime. Enjoy with bad summery pop music.
