Gemma Jones specialises in retro-influenced images of fearless girls and this one reminds me of what would happen if a Bunty comic went bad. The outline of a 1960s-style girl is printed onto a random page from a vintage pulp paperback entitled 'How to become the sensuous woman' from 1969. The text shown describes some pretty innocent advice on how to kiss, though apparently the book gets a lot more racy on other pages. It's no wonder the lucky girl is thinking what she's thinking!
The print costs only $15 from Jones' Etsy store, which is found under the seller name 'paintergirl'. The tips you pick up along the way could be worth that price in themselves.
Oh, I adore this! I think this is a little something which might have to purchased once payday rolls around...

ReplyDeleteGlad you like it too. Looks like we'll end up getting about a chapter's worth of pages between us - we'll have to combine tips!
