Love H&M and Cos in theory? Dislike the flimsiness / shapelessness of their clothes in practice? Then their new luxury sister brand & Other Stories will be right up your street. The newly launched website is full of amazing prints, brilliant metallics and sharp tailoring. It's like Anthropologie and Zara had a sexy, affordable baby. Not that you should be buying babies. Or calling them sexy for that matter. Right, this analogy is falling apart, so let's have a look at what's on offer.
This t-shirt is business at the front, party at the back (albeit quite a twee party involving crepe silk ribbons). It's £19 and also comes in plum and black.
I didn't know how much I wanted a hot pink leather shoulder bag until this point. I love the chunky box style and the magnetic clasp and the overwhelming pinkness of it. I'd have trouble cramming everything in it but I'd flipping well try. It's £79 and comes in black if for some reason you want a sensible bag.
Pretty sure I knew I wanted a flared skirt in Quality Street purple though. Not sure about it? It's got hidden pockets. Yeah, it's your basket now, right? It's £55.
These pastel flats say "hello spring" while the patent leather and rubber mix says "I am ready for you, inevitable rain". They're £45 and also come in black.
The little details on this cotton and linen dress are what make it special. The pleated sides and gathered back will make your waist look awesome, and that flash of orange ribbon brightens the whole thing. And it has pockets. And it's a reasonable £45. Hooray all round!
Their jewellery's ace too. There are some angular, geometric pieces and some chunky bonkers stuff - and I mean that in the best possible way - but I've managed to show you a sensible rhinestone ring. It's only a fiver and also comes in copper and silver.
Their website looks like a Pinterest board, only it's interspersed with gifs so occasionally a cheery lady will wave a bright yellow bag at you to catch your attention. Honestly, you could lose a whole afternoon there.
