Perching Robins

File these cute bone china birds under 'things you don't need but really want' (while you're at it, you might as well file the rest of Domestic Sluttery there as well). What does this little bird do? Not a lot of anything. Just perches on your lampshade.

He's also got a friend to hang out with.

They're adorable. You don't need them, but they're £12.50 each from Rockett St. George and I do really want one. I'd like to buy them as gifts and pop them on lampshades when my friends weren't looking. Surprise silly presents are the best.

Now I've retired the sparkly birds from the Christmas tree, I'm in the market for more birds to strew around my home. Thanks!

I love these! It also made me smile to see that Rockett St George have a whole category under 'Home Accessories' called 'birds' :)
