This Topshop sequin jumper isn't from the tall section, but it fits brilliantly. AND IT IS LITERALLY COVERED IN SEQUINS. I was drawn to it, like a laser beam to a shark on which that laser beam has been glued. And then I bought it because I can't help myself and the last jumper I specially loved, I bought in 2011. It's £48, and I bought a size down because it's oversize and massive.
Hooray for a dress covered in sequins! No really, look closer...
You can also get it in navy and ivory. It's £75 from Next's Tall collection.
This glittery number is £55 from Long Tall Sally. Good sleeves. Incidentally, LTS have really zsuszhed up their catalogue this month, lots of styling tips and well put together outfits - well worth a look if you haven't in a while.
Upper Street has launched their first ready-to-wear shoe collection designed especially for tall women. It's available in sizes 7 to 10.5 in standard and wide fit and details, like using straps around the foot and the kind of heels you can get, have been chosen to make large feet look fab. These were my favourites from the launch - mmm, glitter. Sadly I can't walk in a stiletto heel, but I got my tall adventuress-partner-in-crime Elizabeth to try them on and she looked dead glam.
These ridunkulous New Look slippers are a complete knock-off of some Russell & Bromley ones, but you can't get those ones in a 9, and you can get these, so....
Oh and they're £12 in the sale.
And if you're still not sure about sequins, cover yourself in glue and run through Topshop. FUN TIMES!
