Two pieces of Shoe Porn in one day? Yes indeedy. It's Upper Street's first birthday today, and they've got on heck of an offer on. You design one pair of shoes, you'll get another pair free. Impressive.
That's right, you're allowed to design your shoes. And it's actually a lot of fun. If you've ever fancied yourself a bit of a Miss Jimmy Choo, have a play on Upper Street and see what you come up with. I've been messing about and made these in ten minutes.
Not bad for my first attempt, right? Although, at £210 a pop, I might spend a little more time on them if I was actually buying. It's a very very easy tool to use, even if you haven't got any spends. If you're not sure about the styles, above, pick different colours, a different shape, a different fabric, more straps or no straps if you fancy it. There are so many style options. There are a few limitations though. You can't design wedges or flats, which is a shame if you're not so good in heels (I suggest using Selve if this is the case). But I like that they'll adjust your shoes for you if they're not perfect.
I'd have to be needing a pair of shoes for a very special occasion to spend hundreds on shoes, and I'd love to see some photos of created shoes on the site. But everything is handmade, their pricing is clear, you can return if you're not happy. And, playing around making shoes is FUN.
