The Fox Club dubs itself as 'London's cunning alternative' and it's been very cunning indeed. Until today, I hadn't even heard of it. Hidden away on a little side street in Piccadilly, you'd never even know that it was there.

The hotel bar is open to members only, which means that you'll be in pretty fine company - membership is £300 a year! But if you're looking for a unique hotel to rest your head, you've definitely found it here.

Rooms start at £200, but if you're a member then you'll get a discount and they're actually cheaper over the weekends. There is a restaurant at The Fox Club, yet strangely they opt out of offering room service. But with such an interesting history and beautiful location, I could overlook that. I'm much more of a minibar slut anyway. Give me an overpriced bar of Swiss chocolate and I'm happy.
