Another week, another Wallpaper Wednesday and another Anthropologie design. They have seemed to have been dominating this category recently, but I'm powerless to resist when they pull out designs like this Composed City paper featuring the work of Domestic Sluttery favourite, Esther Coombs.
Like most of her usual pieces, the paper is covered with intricately rendered illustrations of buildings. However, rather than her usual cake stands and ceramics, they've been illustrated over a collage of torn out journal pages and handwritten correspondence (perhaps a crafty suggestion for what we could do with any by products of the Domestic Sluttery Paper and Penmanship event).
The buildings apparently are some of Esther's favourite - I can imagine hours of studying the paper, getting lost in its beautiful details and trying to work out exactly which ones they are. Pricey? Of course. It's from Anthropologie and costs £88 a roll. But it's gorgeous. When Anthropologie keep producing papers like this, it's no wonder they're dominating the Wallpaper Wednesday wall of fame.
