Graham & Green Owl Stool

I am absolutely shattered today. I stayed up until 2am reading my book, and even tea and bacon won't dent my sleepiness. I'm in a remarkably good mood, considering. Probably because I'm avoiding all serious things until further notice. If you want to talk to me about anything spreadsheet-y, you're going to have to wait until Monday.

Top of my silly list is this owl stool from Graham & Green. He's got books on his head! And he doesn't really seem to mind. He's quite happy just sitting there until you decide that you need to read your books and that makes him quite brilliant.

He also seems to like glasses resting on his head. He's ceramic, so don't knock him over - he'll might smash and then you'd be sad. He's £98, which is probably all sorts of madness but I'm so delirious with sleepiness and tea-deprivation that all I can see is a giant owl with books on his head. That's obviously worth every single penny.

    1. I think you should make space for him. He's very useful.

  2. We have this owl but without the flat head. He 'watched over' my husband and his friends at university in their shared house. He was the table centre on their table at our wedding... so lovely to see other people loving his style!

    1. So you couldn't put books on his head? But that's my favourite thing about him!
