Luscious Lingerie: Lyla by Boux Avenue

A while ago, I wrote a piece about Boux Avenue. Sexy smalls in gorgeous fabrics and designs, larger sizes and all for less than £50 a set - what's not to like about that? But I was pretty surprised by the negative comments around the company that, for me at least, were ticking all the boxes. So I decided to try Boux Avenue for myself.

They couldn't have impressed me more. I ordered late on Saturday night and my package was with me early Monday afternoon. Now, sure I'd paid for next day delivery, but after reading the small(s) print, I saw that they would have arrive on Monday even if I'd ordered at 1pm on Sunday. That's some speedy delivering.

I opted for the free gift packaging service (yes! free!) and don't you dare judge me for writing a little note from me to me. My package arrived beautifully wrapped and even came with artificial scented rose petals. It's a really nice (if slightly unnecessary) touch.

So the service is good, the packaging is gorgeous and I'm happy. The underwear? Absolutely perfect. The Lyla range is bold, it's bright, it's sexy. And it fits like a lace-trimmed dream. This is a fantastic range with a great shape - the high-waisted shorts are cut perfectly (oh hello, sexy lace back) and the balcony bra gives a great cleavage. I'm an E cup - I don't try and pretend they're not there. With the bras starting at £26 and the pants £12, Boux Avenue are really impressing me. I'll be ordering again. A lot.

  1. Oh, this looks EXCELLENT. As an equally chestically-gifted type, I find bra shopping (for nice stuff) a pain in the rump. I shall be giving these guys a go immediately.

    1. I didn't buy anything in the sale - nothing really caught my eye.

  4. I'm an E cup too, so this is brilliant. Thanks for the tip! I was just about to go back to shopping whenever I'm back home in the USA again.

    1. Brilliant, shop away! I think I've realised just how 'snug' the bra is, but it's one that'll loosen up a little after a couple of wears.

  5. Don't remember now how I came across your blog, but I heart it! Thanks so much for this tip. Being larger-than-average in the boob dept too, this has made me very happy!
