While the shop as a whole is often a little too twee for me, The Contemporary Home can still surprises me (but please, for goodness sake, NO MORE BUNTING). It's not just their occasionally wonderful products, but also with their prices. These pastel jugs are bloomin' gorgeous. Use them for long drinks involving elderflower cordial, or just keep flowers in them instead. Or buy two, one for things involving gin, another for flowers (don't mix them up, daisies and gin aren't friends).
They're 21cm high and somehow, magically, they're £5.99 each. I've double checked and that's not a typo on the website. I'm impressed that I can get a piece for kitchen prettiness for little over a fiver. The yellow one is MINE.
