Design Porn: Paper Tango
I wasn't expecting to be, but I'm pretty excited about the Olympics. Sure, Londoners are being told not to leave their houses so all of the tourists can fit in, but it's still really exciting. There's a buzz about London, like we're waiting for a really summery Christmas.
Paper Tango are helping me get my London on. They've created a gorgeous range of pop-up cards, inspired by our fair capital. (When it's sunny, London is described as fair, in a week we'll be calling it drab and grey again.)
This Covent Garden Market card is one of my favourites. Simply because it's not a landmark that gets included very often, despite the throngs of tourists.
Guess where this is!
You can't have a range of London cards without having one of Buckingham Palace. I don't think the Queen would be very impressed with that.
Actually, I think this London Eye pop-up is prettier than the London Eye.
The Royal Opera House is the perfect card for your theatre-loving friends. It's also worth knowing that you can gain access to their roof terrace bar for a fiver. That's a little-known secret that's going to come in very handy over the Olympics.
The cards are a bargain at £5.99 each. And you bet I want to draw clouds and birds in the sky above them.
