Pink, frilly dresses aren't something I tend to find myself going for. I'm all for a little bit of girly dressing, but too much pink and frankly, I'll look silly. Like I'm wearing candy floss or something. But that doesn't mean that I'm not drawn to this pink silk dress. Actually, I haven't stopped staring at it all morning.
French Connection dresses often pass me by. I think they're beautiful, but I'm somewhere between a size 10 and 12 a lot of the time and they just don't seem to fit me properly.(Unless I've been eating lots of chips, and then they fit me just fine.)
But the floaty fabric and long sleeves on this dress looks so flattering, even in the coral pink which certainly isn't the easiest colour to wear, so I might have to go and try it on. It comes in black as well, but that's not nearly as summery and pretty. It's £115, but you do get a whole lot of silk for your money.
